I was thinking along the same lines as JJ that the initial conotations could be too negative. However, in some strange way, the fact you "sort of need to explain it", fits the PT too.

Don't quite see it rolling off my tongue yet, but if does stick, it makes sense to me! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Interesting discussion.

We Ventrac owners have some kinship to you Power Trac guys. Our tractors come from the factory decaled as a:

C.A.T., a Compact Articulating Tractor.

I was trying to stay away from the "multi" because one brand of articulated machines has that name...
Multi-One Multipurpose Loaders

I didn't want to risk this becoming a "Coke" or "Kleenex" where the brand name becomes the generic name for a type of product...

I found it a bit frustrating that PTs weren't even considered in the latest Compact Equipment mag's review of mini-loaders even though they're one of the oldest players in that market. They had Multi-one, Kangas, Gehl (Avant), Dingo, etc... but no Power Trac...

I'm beginnning to relate to the late Rodney Dangerfield... /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Oh, yeah, that reminds me of the doubletake I did a few months before the Multi-One showed up in Compact Equipment mag and on the forum. By chance I was on a circuitous route to Schenectady one day and passed a lot full of blue articulators. Turns out to be the distributor's headquarters. Haven't seen one since.

We sure don't want to be confused with blue shiny sculpted sheetmetal. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
