The deadline for public comments has been extended to Sept 10 . But following their links to make my comment for that Docket Nr, it is listed under the "closed for comments" index. Typical. I emailed my government to please re-open the proposed rule for comments. And the NRA.

C'mon everyone, when our government re-opens the comments portal, pls make your feelings known. Pro or Con we want a true representation of our public to be counted, not a bureaucrat in D.C. who simply thinks this is a rule that needs to be on the books.

I saw this a while back, emailed from a friend. I did my part, I hope others will as well. We can't let this kind of thing be slipped in there on us. This is still America and we American's need to take a stand for what has made America so great. Like it or not, the right of American citizens to bear arms is one of those great things about this country. It's being whittled away bit by bit by those who have no clue what it cost to get us to this point.

I put in the exact docket number and OSHA as the agency... no documents found... tried various alternatives and options and wording for 10 minutes... so, I gave up... guess I gotta go buy several cases of everything I will ever need now before it gets further restricted...

Kind of makes you think they don't really want our opinions huh? So much for the "government of the people by the people" thing. I stockpile. Wife thinks I'm a nut-job for it, but better to be safe than unarmed.

It was my understanding that this was a proposed regulation that got yanked for obvious reasons and the parties 'responsible' for the regulation crawled back under their bridge....at least that was Rush's take on the matter.
