Propeller Shaft Removal and Installation on a L2500DT

I have recently purchased a L2500DT and have a leaking seal where the propeller shaft enters the front sheel drive case. Presumably, the root of the problem is the oil seal. Has anybody out there replaced this seal, and if so, do you have any tips for the replacement including tips on the removal and installation of the propeller shaft?

Depends where the shaft is located, on my JD it's just got 4 1/4 inch horse shoe brackets, should just drop down
