Be very careful when dealing with propane as it will really mess you up. My father in law and all of his employees used special rubber coated gloves when dealing with it.

If I didn't know anything about the valves, which I don't, I would just leave them alone. Even if someone on here tells you how to access your fuel, you may run the risk of injury.

Some battles are just not worth fighting, but that's just me.

At this stage if it were me I would accept the ''loss'' and call them and say come get it the heck off my property, And dont run over the huge sign out front, telling the public just how I feel..

Not trying to antagonize you, just trying to understand what the issues are here.

Obviously, the main issue is that you have propane in your tank, and your propane company has interrupted your access to it. What I'm having trouble understanding is why. In your first post you said you were shut off due to an argument with them. Later you posted your tank lease was due in August, you didn't recieve a statement, came home to find the gas off, leaving me to assume the service was discontinued because the lease wasn't paid. Then later still you posted the service was shut off before your lease payment was due.

So people on here can try to give you usable advise, what is the reason(s) that the propane company has given you for shutting off your service?

Propane companies have a strange customer attitude.

They lease you a tank and think it means it is a license to steal.

The only way to deal with them is own your tank. Propane is a bad choice of fuel. There needs to be a lease to own by default. Not so much for the customers benefit, but for the company who have no idea how to treat people.

I have found a great company, but I had to deal with every bad one in the area to get to this point.
