Yes he is happy even with the reduced turning radius. The project isn't finished but on hold until he earns some more money. Still wanting fender flairs, LED light bar, and I believe a train horn. The latter will get him in trouble.

Good for him! A little trouble is ok, we've all been in it and learned some good lessons.

that think not only looks waxed but buffed!!!!!!

The paint is in great shape for its age. It needs a clay bar and good waxing which is on the agenda.

I love Meguires products but i recently used thier ultimite compound to clean up the oxidized paint on my 04 Sequoia. That stuff is amazing. Since your paint is in good shape if it could use any more work i might suggest the ultimite polish. The ultimite line is some great stuff!!!

You can take those swirls and spiders out of the clearcoat..you know the things that get in there when you look at the clean truck inthe sun and see like hologram lines in it or what ever that are not really there. The compound n polish would clean those up easily on a dark truck. i just compounded and waxed. I used the gold class carnuba wax but read that the untimite wax is a synthetic wax and it does not turn the trim white if you get it on there. I wish i used that as now i have to work on the trim that i and the previous owner got wax on in places :-(

Please don't let him get a train horn. Not only illegal, but if he blows it with a car sitting next to it (and the windows down) it can cause permanent hearing damage. Not only that, I've heard one blow in traffic before a few cars over and it scared the living crap out of me. So yeah, illegal for good reasons.
