Kubota L48
Backhoe has been on tractor for long time. Having problems getting it off. Any suggestions on how to get it off. The levers on the backhoe will not move once the clips are pulled out.

There is a similar recent thread involving an L35. Patience and continual saturation with penetrating lube were the recommendations there and probably also for your L48. The consequences of years of neglect won't disappear overnight, unfortunately. It only makes it worse that it's hard to get at the mounts when the BH is on the tractor.

RRitchie56, I own a Kubota L35. When removing the backhoe, I stretch the hoe all the way out, then lift the back of the tractor with the hoe. Once the hoe is supporting the weight of the tractor, the release levers move easily. Ditto when installing the hoe. When removing the hoe for the first time (I don't think it had been removed for years when I bought it), I ended up bouncing the back of the tractor with the hoe to get things freed up, along with a couple weeks of regular penetrant soak.
