Tractor
Kubota B2910
Today is the first day I have got to use my new Kubota B2910. I have a 72" MMM. The tractor and mower performed great today except for one thing. For the first 3 hours the MMM raised and lowered very well. All of a sudden the mower would raise fine but when I tried to lower it, it would not go down. I played with it a little and finallywhen I would twist the knob that adjusts the speed of the raising and lowering toward the closed position, it would then lower. Is this normal? I had the adjustment set to lower and raise slowly. But all of a sudden, it will not lower unless I twist the knob to close and make it fast. Could someone help me out with this? Thanks

I have the same tractor. I have never had this problem.
Turning the knob Counterclockwise makes 3PH drop faster. Turning it Clockwise will slow it down. If turned full Clockwise you will shut the system off. You may have the adjustment very close to the lock position.
Turning the knob should not affect raise speed.
All that is the lower circuit is a check valve and flow control (knob).
There could be something caught in the linkage that makes position control work. This linkage is on the right side of 3PH right lift arm.
Hope this helps?
