Problem with hour meter

DK35 purchased used a few months ago.

Problem: I have been using the tractor to do some work around the place and I keep noticing that the hour meter is running fast.

For example, I went out today to just dig a few holes, push over some trees, grade a drive, all in all - could not have been on the tractor for more than five minutes, ten tops and that little hour meter reads 3 more hours than when I started. This kind of thing has been going on since I bought it.

The wierd hour meter and no cup holder, my two complaints.

Who has time for a drink when you're only on it for five minutes!

Guess Kiotis have cheap hour meters. Mine quit at 98 hours and the new one runs about half time. Guess we'll have to keep a time log if we really care about maintenance.
