I'm posting this for a friend, hopefully this is the correct place. He recently changed his oil and replaced the oil filter on his rtv 900. Unfortunately afterwards when he turns his key to the "on" position...nothing. No lights come on, no power. We checked the battery and it has 12.7 volts. The filter is right out in the open so nothing to worry about hooking or catching. Thought maybe it was the switch? I pulled the plug on the back of the switch and had no power on either of the red wires. Someone told me of some oil sensor that may need to be reset, but I don't think that would not cut power to the vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check the connections on the battery ground cable??

The vast majority of no starts on stuff like this is some safety switch/kill switch not in the right postion.... easy to bump whilst you are working on it.... :)

No power like yours is likely a problem at the battery. Take off and polish both terminals. If that fails check power at the starter. There is a fuseable link in the starter circuit.

Well it is up and running again. The fuses he was told to check by the dealer last week were the wrong ones. He found one in the system that was blown, replaced it, and now it's operational. Why it happened when it did...who knows? Thanks for the help.
