I have a little Prince 3 spool remote valve assembly (MB31BBB5C1) on my Kubota L48. Each of the valve levers has a rubber dust/dirt protective boot that has dry rotted away.
I called a Prince distributor (Bangor,Me.) and they called Prince, who said those rubber protective boots are not available.
The valve assembly with that number is still sold....but no replacement boots/dust covers?
They will sell me 3 new handle assemblies (which apparently include the boots) for $27 each plus shipping .....$100 with shipping, to get 3 rubber dust boots?
I don't think so.
I could buy the whole new valve assembly on E-Bay for $220.
I don't want to.
Any ideas?
A substitute boot?
