Price Check Pricing? sketchy info at the moment

Just found a 2003 L3130 for sale with 200 hours on it. Comes with an FEL, JRW rear mounted snowblower, 73" finish mower and Curtis heated cab. tractor is 4x4, locking differential and HST tranny. Owner is getting divorced and asking $18,500 for it. Also sounded like it has 4 new turf tires. I would like to see it in person and will fill in details on features and mfg's.

I've been looking at used NH's more so I haven't read much about Kubota's.

Any feed back on the price or the tractor? I have 5.25 acres that are fairly hilly. About 1/2 the lot is moderately wooded. The balance is field and will be maintained as prairie. Drive is 700' long so snow removal could be a big part of the tractor usage.

Sounds a little strange with 4 new turf tires and 200 hours on tractor. Need to ask why. Price seems a little high but that may be due to the Curtis cab.

For less than 2,000 more you can purchase a new B3030 with factory cab that not only has heat but also a/c. HP seems about the same but the L is a physically larger machine.

My guess is he was spending more time with the tractor then with her and she slashed the tires???

Yeah, the tractor may be 2000 more, but the one he lists has the loader that lifts 2x the B3030, a $2500 snow blower, and a finish mower. It's a good price.

Picked up the tractor on Sunday for 17500. I'm happy with the tractor and the deal. Now I just have to learn how to use it.... seller couldn't find owners manuals.

It is a 2003 L3130 HST with factory loader. The mower is Land Pride, Snow blower is JRW Enterprise 60" (IIRC). It also has a Curtis cab with cab heater. Tires are newer turf tires. Unit was in WI one year, came with the owner from Vermont where it was primarily used to clear snow. Hours on the tractor are ~285. I'll post some photos when I have a chance to take some.

I think you got a great deal. You can get the manuals from your local dealer pretty cheap.

Did it come with chains for snow blowing traction?

No chains. I can appreciate the need for them but I'm wondering what they will do to an asphalt driveway. The drive is traffic bond for now but next year it will be paved.
