I was just quoted $29,370.00 for a DK65 S with R4 tires and no FEL. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The closest and only kioti dealer to me is about 22 miles away. So does this seem to be a little high to you guys. I was also quoted $28,300 for the older DK65C.

If you were willing to drive to Ohio I know where you can get a Dk65 with loader and ag tires for thousands less.

Thanks Mike but Ohio is a bit far for me to drive sinse I live in Northern Idaho. I just can't figure out why it's so much more expensive here /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Post Falls, Idaho right? As far as the older model, I believe you should be able to get that for around $26,000 with a loader. The newer one for $1000 more due to steel increases and improvements that doesn't seem unreasonable to me. Of course, pricing is often regional with freight sometimes adding quite a bit to pricing. Maybe you could run over to Washington and see what you can get over there. John

Correctamundo Post Falls, Idaho. He seems to be a pretty nice guy but I'm having a hard time with them prices /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. I can get a Mahindra 7010 or a TYM700 for $28,000.00 but I like the Kioti better.

Maybe you can get his young son to give you a better price. That kid is sharp, and knows his tractors.
Of course, he's going to be resistant to selling cheaper, but you need to let him know what he has to do to make the sale. Either he can do it, or he can't. Decide what you're willing to pay for it, and tell him. Good luck and let us know. John

His son /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif I talked to Tom and he seemed pretty young. Maybe in his late 30's or early 40's. If he has a son, I don't think he would be very old.

I don't know why I called him Tom. His name is Don and initially I talked to him about the DK55C ( about a month ago) and now if I want the DK55C it's going to cost me about in extra $1300.00 dollars. He says prices went up the the tractors and shipping has doubled.

His son is Nick, about 14 y.o. He's really up on these tractors, and seems very interested in helping out his dad. An impressive young man. John

I think he is looking at a cab model though. Not going to find a cab model for 26k I don't think.

Right, I wasn't sure which he wanted. But I'll find a way to get the money if I can find one at that price! John

Post Falls or Rathdrum? Don is down there and by all accounts is a pretty good guy. I am a competitor but know people speak highly of him.

Thanks,

He's talking about Don at Specialty Feed & Tractor
13853 W. HWY 53 Post Falls, ID 83854
I met him at Kioti's dealer meeting last September. Seems like an upfront guy.
I'm not a dealer, but was there to do some technical writing for the CK25/30. John

Well Gents, I coming to the conclusion that Don's prices aren't as bad as some of the quotes I'm getting from other dealers. It still will be a couple of months before my money comes in. I just hope it doesn't go any higher. My wife is retiring at the end of the year so I'm trying to spend the least amount of money as possible. She wants to help me on the farm so you know who will be using the new tractor /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I just finish talking to Don. We decided to finance for the two months at 0 interest since there's only two DK65 S's at this time coming out of Sacramento CA so Don will get one of them. I just fill if I don't do this now there might not be one in two months. This is going to work out great. I leave on a Caribbean cruise tomarrow afternoon and when I get back on the 12th of April my tractor will be here waiting for me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Howdy,

Those of us who live in the NW corner of the US seem a little hampered by limited dealerships. What I know of is one in Post Falls, ID, one in Redmond, OR and one in Chehalis, WA.

I just completed a deal on a CK30S with hoe and FEL with the guy in WA. In the process I tried to deal with both the dealer in Oregon and the one in ID. Although I live in the Puget Sound area I grew up on and own a ranch in NE WA which is where the tractor will eventually end up....so anyone of the 3 would've worked for me. The WA dealer gave me the best price...by over a $1,000. I didn't try dickering much with the Post Falls people but I did with the Oregon guy. He just couldn't get his price to come in. He was ok to deal with though. The other problem was that he didn't have any stock and couldn't tell me when there would be a CK30S (I ended up talking to Kioti in Carolina and found out it would probably be toward the end of April).

The dealer in WA has a lot of tractors, attachments, and implements. I know he has some 45s and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a 65 or 2 there as well. He doesn't have a store front operation but rather works out of a barn! I think both this and the fact that he has an inventory allows him to sell at the prices he does. He told me when I picked my tractor up last weekend that he did the best he could to keep his overhead as low as possible. I think the fact that he has inventory also helps. As we all know, steel prices are escalating very rapidly. Depending on how he is pricing his inventory a tractor he has had in stock for a few months is certainly going to have cost him less than one coming off the boat today.

If you don't mind hauling the tractor 350 to 400 miles I'd recommend you at least check with them. They do work during the day so its best to call them in the evening before 9.

There is a trailer manufacturer about a mile away who build a passably could trailer at a good price so you can almost make it a one loop deal....I did in a total downpour.

Thanks pnwbear
I was told that there is only two close by and there both in CA. If they were both sold by the time I got back from vacation, then I would have to pay for shipping from Texas. Shipping is really getting expensive so I decided to bite the bullet and purchase it at Post Fall Idaho. I actually got quotes from other dealers and Post Falls was the better deal.

That's great. Of course, I think you meant to say the 24 months financing at 0% right? You'd have a couple of very high payments for TWO months! LOL
Congratulations. I'm glad you could make a deal with Don. He and his son seem like very nice people to deal with. John
