Price Check Pricing New 1025R with Loader and 60' Deck

Hello everyone,

First posting in this forum, or any forum on TBN for that matter. Stopped by the local JD dealer and priced a new 1025R with H120 loader and the 60" mower deck (didn't get the model number). Price was $16,300 after the $1500 implement credit from JD. This dealer is the closest to my house and offers free delivery plus an annual free pick up and deliver back for maintenance (still have to pay for any service). He said they could fill the rear tires with wiper fluid for an additional $200.

I plan on checking other dealers in the area, but was looking for opinions on this price.

Mutton in Ft.Wayne has unit for 15K with D120 and 54" deck, new 1025R. Check it out. Also has same without deck,but,backhoe and FEL for around 20K.

John - thanks. I had looked at their website. The H120 loader goes for $600 more than the D120 and the 60D deck goes for about $150 more than the 54. That brings the price to $15,750 vs $16,300. Fort Wayne is about a 3 hour drive and I don't currently have a trailer, yet. One nice service that the local dealer offers is the free annual pickup and delivery for service. I'm going to a dealer closer to Indianapolis in the morning to see how his prices compare.

I wasn't trying to suggest one deal was better/worse over the other. I just wanted to offer you a point of comparison. You might want to see if the Mutton deal is before or after JD discount.

I'd say your original sounds like the better deal for now...I think the service of pick-up & delivery sounds quite good. Good luck in your decision.

I just purchased the same setup in May and your price seems pretty reasonable. I think they change by demand and the area, but mine was $16K pre-tax with 0% financing.
