Looking to add a Cub to the collection for some mowing, but primarilly snow removal. Seem to see a fair supply of 125 and 129's here with decks and blowers. If they are operating as they should and aren't all beat, what are these going for? Thanks for any opinions/thoughts!

Don't have a clue 'bout pricing.

I would look toward "gear drive" and, "garden tractor."

Too many confuse lawn vs. garden tractor. I've owned twenty+ lawn and garden tractors. For work, the gear drive garden tractors were tops  .

Any share the thought?

I have several Cub's and I disagree with Tankman on "gear drive" being the best. The Hydrostatic drives in the 125 and 129 are pretty much bullet-proof if you keep fluid in them, plus you don't have to constantly swith gears, its just a lever. Up in MN, they go for around $500 if they are in good condition with a deck.

Yes the hydros are good - use Hytran only tho when you change, in our area 129 series are $300-750 range with the higher price usually has been fixed up/repainted etc.
