That pricing looks very good! I would go the 3320, between those.

Mine was:

3720 larger R4 tires, electric diverter, Xtra rear hydraulic (3 to rear) upgrade cruise control, engine heater, Air seat suspension (for my back) mid PTO

Deere list = $27,291

300CX loader w/73" HD bucket, and 3rd hydraulic function, 48" fixed tine forklift

Deere list = $5205

Total Deere list $ 32,496

Pkg price $26,100

The only question I need to ask my dealer is if Option $ LVB25513 does the same as #7020. Both are the 3rd SVC, but price differently with the LVB option being less.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: Don't look to anytime soon. Nearest dealers are an hour away. I don't drive, and so can't easily sneak a look "while I'm in the neighborhood..." Guess that's why I like to dig up all the info I can from the net...

Sure would be interesting to really compare the 10s and 20s.

I also think it is interesting how "underpowered" my 4310 is since the 20s are in sight. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I hope it can still spin up my ol' MX6! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Funny as much as I anticipated the 20s, I think I'd get a 4410 with the 300cx loader, if I were buying right now....

Now that's enough of that kind of talk....
The margin for Deere is WAY better on the new TWENTY Series. The TEN Series is almost >gulp< a "value" now.
Won't be long and the TEN's will be showing up in "Green Power" magazine as the featured tractor of the month /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Does 2 or 3 HP really make that much of a difference in a tractor? I have been wondering why Deere puts out 3 tractors all within 7 HP of ine another.

In this case, it isn't just 3 hp, but the 3 hp it takes to make it useable. The 3120 is slightly less powered than my 4310. After owning it for a while, I would be willing to pay a little more for a little more power (if I were buying new) I would NOT pay that much and settle for a little less (3120).

I am surprised at the number of models, too. But if these were pickups, they would be considered the same model, just different packages...

Let me ask in another way, because I am really confused right now after all the dealers I talked to.

What is a 4410 going to allow me to do that a 4310 would not? Is there some implements I may not be able to use with a 4310? Is getting a Hydro on a 4310 going to prohibit me from doing something I could with the PowerReverser?

I really appreciate the knowledge and experience this board provides for naive buyers like me.

OK, if I were buying a tractor, I would get a 4310 over a 4410, all things being equal. (I did that!) I researched it HARD, and unless you really are working this way hard, there is no REAL BIG benefit of a 4410 over a 4310. I have a very hilly 80 acres and cut with an MX6. 'Nuff said.

But, if I were getting a TWENTY, I don't think I would settle for the 3120. It has lower power than a 4310. The 3320 uses the replacement engine from the 4410, but it is lower powered than the 4410. I sure would not want any less than O have, so the 3320 is the lowest I would go.

BUT, If I were to find a good deal on a 4410 right now, It is the best deal, I think. a 4310 would be a better deal than a 3120.

If you are shopping, I would use Deere's dealer locator and contact every dealer that I would be willing to use for service and ask for their best deal on a 4310/4410, and 3x20. Demos. low hours trades, ones that are sitting on the lot. Whatever. I did that and saved about $3k.

A hydro does "waste" a little power, but if you are using rated attachments, it will be fine. Get the one you want. But if a dealer has a reverser they really want o move, it would sure merit a look, they are great.
