2009 Kubota L3240HSTC 4WD
I am new to the site and looking to buy a new Grand L3240, HST, 4x4 with cab and a LA724 front loader with heavy duty 72" bucket, quick disconnect and industrial tires.
I have have gotten three prices the lowest being $27,948 plus local tax.
I was wondering if that price is in the ballpark or high.
Another question I have is about the ins. Kubota requires if you buy with there 0% financing. Has anyone used this ins. and are there other Ins. Companies available.

Kubotausa.com..........build your own: list that tractor at $32,127.00
I owned a L3130 Grand HST(no cab)very nice all around tractor;traded it for a L4240 HST cab and loader. The l3240 is the newer version of the L3130,this tractor will do it all,I snow plowed(frame mounted),rototilled, pulled a two bottom plow.If the L3130 I owned had a cab I never would have traded.:)

I have the same tractor your looking at buying. 2008 3240 cab 4x4 724 loader 66" heavy duty round back bucket optional rear work lights, r4 tires and 1 rear remote for $24900 plus state tax. There have been a few price increases since I bought my tractor (August 08) but I think you are in the ballpark, however, I would think you can for sure beat that price a couple of thousand.

Give brady at barlows a try, he is great to deal with and has very good pricing.

Also, the kubota insurance is the way to go. You will not beat the coverage they offer for the price they charge.

I have financed thru Kubota before and using another brand of insurance was no problem. I had a line item added to my home owner's policy with replacement value on the tractor and implements. I had Farm Bureau insurance at the time.
I would ask a dealer if they still allow this as an option.

Thats a good price. Get some rear wheel weights that loader is strong on that tractor.

Be careful home owners insurance are unlikely to cover the tractor anywhere other than YOUR property. They also would unlikely cover the tractor while it is being trailered on the highway. They probably cover the tractor during transport from the dealer to your house but if you wanted to load up and help a friend with your tractor I would say you would not have coverage on the tractor. Check with you agent and ask many questions. I too had farm bureau and switched to kubota when I found out the tractor had to stay on my property to be covered.

I just looked up a couple price quotes I got earlier this year.
I was Quoted $27,700 for the L3540HSTC with loader,bucket, R4tires.
$1100 More for the L3940.

My holdup has been my trade price.

Thanks to everyone who posted info. I think I am going with a local dealer who priced what I want at about the same as everyone else. Just hate paying the locale 7.75% state tax.

I too am considering this very set-up, although I am considering the L3540, just to have the extra HP at the PTO. In my area, I'll be using the a/c about 8 of 12 months and that too will siphon off some PTO HP. I think the 724 bucket with quick attachment and a third valve option is what I'll be doing. Anyone know if Kubota Credit is going to extend the 0% 60 mo deal past Dec 31 2009?
