Dealer quoted $20,000 for a TC40A with 16LA loader. Does this sound right? I thought the loader at $4,000 seemed high?
Thanks.

Pricing on compact tractors vary from area to area. First welcome to TBN, 2nd, go back and fill in your profile so the guys in your area can help you out. Also help us with more details of your tractor. What type of tranny are you getting and other options.

Again welcome to TBN.

I am also in North MS and recently purchased a tc33 from Memphis New Holland. Their prices and exactly in line with the prices from Corriher and Tarheel. Plus, they are local, and have been in business as long as I can remember, 20+ years. I was able to negotiate a bit lower asking price, but mine was a used trade in with low hours. I would suggest you give them a shot.

Thats who I am dealing with. I was just wondering if that price was right. What do you do with yours? I would like to do a little bush hog and boxblade work localy for some side money. I live in Olive Branch. My parents live in Bridgetown and I graduated from Hernando in 98. Small world isnt it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is about the same as the quote a dealer here in KY gave me.

I paid about 18,500 for a 35DA with 16LA. I think I remeber the difference between the 35 & 40 being like $1,400. After moving up from the 33 I couldn't alk the wife into ANOTHER $1,400 for the 4 Cyl. Delare told me they don't sell many 35's, everyone out my way is going atleast 40?

I live about 3 miles from Bridgetown, it is indeed a small world. I have done some hoggin' and dirt work for pay for the past couple of years with a 1964 Ford 4000 gas, and decided last year to sell it and move up into the current age. Man, what a difference in equipment and their capabilities.
I also maintain my 5 acres with misc chores, still have a '52 8n for some finish mowing. You will be happy with Mphs NH, they are solid folks.

I am looking to do some work for pay on the weekends with one. Mostly bush hog and box blade work. I have talked once with the NH dealer and met David, the owner and they seem very good. I am going to covington pike and check out these new Montana tractors this weekend though, they seem like great tractor from what I have read. And more tractor for less price. Plus its got a mitsubishi engine. Oh well we will see.
