What would be the going price for a B7800 with a 60 inch mowing deck. A freind of mines, brother has one for sale with 256.9 hours for sale that supposedly looks like new for $6000.00 I thought that sounded cheap but I have never priced a B7800 so I do not know. Thnaks in advance for any info.

Yes! I would say that sounds cheap. Better check it out.

That is a good price. If it's up to par, I'd throw down cash and get it on to the house.

Comparatively, a machine with 256 hours should be a late model, unless it has sat. At any rate, a relatively new (used) B7800 with the 60-MMM would look to be around $10 - 12 thousand. Maybe a little more but all said and done, $6K is a steal if the machine is up to snuff...

Too bad I lived so far away from that deal. Otherwise, I would have a new reason to build another garage.

Update on tractor. Tractor turned out to be a B7500 instead of a B7800. IF anyone is interested in it I could provide my friends brothers phone number if you would like. I have not personally looked at the tractor, Im only going by what my friend told me about it. I thought to myself when he said a B7800 for $6000. that something couldn't be right that sounded way to cheap.

Still may be of consideration unless your heart is set on a 30 HP machine. The 7500 is not that outdated, as it's successor is the B7510 (on Kubota's site) for comparison. For US$6000 to get a tractor and a nice mower, with those very low hours, I'd have to reconsider on the B7500. That is a stout machine and only one tier lower in capacity than the B7800.
