Price of Gravely Model 8129?

I have an Gravely Model 8129 four wheel riding tractor with a mowing deck that has been sitting under the back cover of my barn for the past couple years. The wiring needs work and the tires need patching, but we tested it the other day and it turned over (it didn't start, but it didn't have any gas left in the tank).

Around what price range should I be asking for it, assuming someone takes it as-is to fix it up and get it running?

In case it matters, I'm in Asheville, NC.

It sort of depends on condition. Non-running might fetch a couple of hundred. Being under cover might help. When a tractor like that is stored for a long time, there is an certain amount of expense and labor that is required to bring it back into running shape. At a minimum, change the oil in the trans and engine, grease the mower deck, replace the grease in the mower drive, fuel filter, fuel tank drain and refill, and possibly a battery. All in all about 8 hrs of work or so. If the mower is noisy, then new bearings and idlers are usually needed and possibly new mower blades. That could be another 2-6 hours of work. Then there is the reason why it was parked in the first place. Quite often, there is some latent issue that caused it to be parked.

I say put it on graig's list for $450 OBO.
