I like the JD power reverser, I think its better than hydro. I think you can control the power more, and drive along at slower engine speeds without the jerky motion. Test drive them to see what you like better. Cliff

Your pedal must be very sensitive,I do not have "jerk motion" on mine,I do not know how you could have better infinite control or speed either,unless your pedal would be set too sensitive.
My humble opinion.
I have run a lot of tractors in my life,nothing as sweet as the hydro tranny though.
