Hi all
I am new to TBN as far as being a member but have been watching the site for over a year now. I am finally getting close to being able to buy the tractor I want. I have my eye on the MX5100 and thought I would through out some prices and see what everyone thinks of them. This is in north western West Virginia with the LA844 loader and BH 90 Backhoe for 29570 before taxes. This seams pretty good to me what do you guys think.

With that model just coming out it might be hard to find someone with one already!

Used to work on UH-1's for Uncle Sam for a couple of years and loved them! I'm jealous if you get to play with them all the time! I'd still have to have my tractors though..

There are some different spec's on the tractors that can change the pricing from one deal to the next.

You sound like you may be pretty close to me, (geographically), I could find out what the local Kubota dealer would charge for it if you like. I'm in eastern Oh.

It sounds pretty good to me. I paid 23,100 for my MX5000 with a Woods LC108 loader (pre-taxes). So for the additional 6,500 you get the new transmission and the BH.

I was looking at the MX5000 and the M4900 I had no clue they dont have the M4900 anymore. I have been researching tractors for a while and the web sights do not keep up with what is really going on if you don稚 go to a dealer once and a while you wont really be up on the latest and greatest. Do you think the gril gard helps vary much? I realize I am going to pay almost 30,000 for a tractor whats 200 dollars more, well spent I hope if i get it.

I just joined.

After looking around at different brands for the last six months, I pulled the trigger on a 2 wheel drive MX5100F, with a front end loader and a Land Pride RCR 1872 Rotary Cutter (in Kubota Orange) this morning.

It should be delivered by Friday morning. Once I have it on the place I will come back give some information on what I ended up paying.

I am in Texas and talked with several Kubota Dealers at first they all seemed to be trying to get list for them. After they smelled I was in heat I started to get better pricing out of a couple of them.

What dealer did you go with? I have looked at Normangee tractor and Allied in Conroe.

Right now I am leaning toward Hurst in Maietta OH he seams to have the best deal and I dont feel like I am being taken for a ride. They wont have any in untill the end of April so in the mean time I will continue to call around. My wife is getting deployed to Iraq in June and she does not want me on the tractor 24/7 untill she leaves so it works out ok. I am looking at a little over 30,000 for the MX5100 tractor 844 loader with skid stear attachment bucket 72" BH90 backhoe 12" bucket. Hurst is 16 miles from my place so I would say its going to be a done deal. I will put some pictures up when i get it.

Chuck, Jason and Art, I thank you both for your service. Jason, I hope your wife remains safe and sound for her return.
Good to know I'm in good company with the "Huey pukes" here! I'm an old one as well. Flew slicks and gunships and had a brief foray into b-hawks. To 'Caddy' for me. Retired happy after 20.

Jason, I'd like to know how your experience with the MX5100 has been so far. I have another thread asking about the L4400 4WD w/ loader and more and someone suggested the 5100. Wondering how one is better over the other.

Respect,
Cpt Trog

New guy here. Considering the 5100 as well. The "cold call" first quote I got on the 51oo 4wd with loader yesterday in North Texas was $22,147.00...

I got a quote price of 20,690 on the same tractor in Bastrop, LA. Seems to be the cheapest dealer in my area.

Get the grill gaurd. It has saved the front of my MX5000 several times.
