Price Check Price for a 2004 CK20

I have been given an offer to buy a CK20 from 2004 in really good shape. Only used for 146 hours. With it comes a loader, a finishing mower, and a backhoe. The backhoe has been used on an another tractor from 2004 for about 500 hours and is not in that good shape. I do not know it there are any problems with the hydraulic of if there are any other technical problems, the only thing that I can see is that it has been used a lot. It has some rust and a broken seat.

The asking price is 13.800 for all of it (The price for the backhoe which is also included is 3.500). Is this a good deal?

I have never had a tractor before so please help!!!

i bought a '05 ck20 with 360 hours with a backhoe and trailer for 12,900. it had some wear and tear on it but overall is in good shape. just to give you an idea.

I also believe the area you live in plays a roll in the price you pay. The prices tend to be a little higher in the Northeast than in some other parts.

Hi,
What size is the backhoe? When you put it on a CK20 you should have a subframe and not mount it on the 3pt hitch. If the backhoe is in rough shape to begin with, you may want to stay away from it. Try to get the tractor and loader and mower as a package.

I agree with Kioti Dave that you might want to offer 10K or a bit less for just the tractor and mower. $3800 for a beat up KB2365 of that vintage is not such a great deal. I know that the control valves on some of the older ones require work for starters.

I bought an almost new (28hrs) CK20 HST/FEL and new BH for 15K a couple of years ago. Prices have gone up since then so you're not going to get that sort of deal on a new one today but it does indicate to me that the price you are quoting is high.

I paid 17,800 for a 2006 CK20 HST with the Woods BH and front loader and Sims Cab with heater. List was 27K. The guy paid 22K+ and I got it with 18 hours on it. I considered that to be a bang up deal.

With a backhoe and low hours, that does not seem that far off.
