New Holland TC40DA
Well, I was nearly ready to buy a Kubota 4330 Hydro. Then New Holland offered 0% for 48 months on 40tcda. So I went shopping a little more. Here is what two dealers offered. Any thoughts anyone would like to share? Maybe I should stay with Kubota at 0% for 36 months?

Dealer A - 0% for 48 months
tc40da - $19,500
16 LA loader - $3,650
Load rear tires - $350.00
Discount -($225.00)
Total of $23,275

Dealer B - Had two proposals.
tc40da - $20,626
16 LA loader - $4,649
Discount - (400.00)
Total $24,875

other option: Find my own financing.
tc40da - $20,579
16 LA Loader - $4649
Discount (3,584.80)
Total $21,643.80

All other factors, distance to dealer, relationship with dealer are equal.

Thanks for your input

Those are not to far off from my prices in N.E. PA, you can check out my post.

Although I still haven't called the stealer about his AG tire price that he gave me because it just doesn't seem right.

The TC40DA is more of a match with the L3830 I would think and the TC45DA is closer to the L4330. My first choice was the 4330 also but my local dealer only has one 3830 and 5030 left and not interested in dealing at all because everything he gets sells and he is waiting for the new models. My stealer also indicated I could get the 0% 48 on the 45 also although I haven't heard that anywhere else.

Interesting to see the two prices from Dealer B, didn't realize they were making us pay for the zero percent.

Option 1, $24,875 pays off at $518 for 48 months at zero %.
Option 2, $21,643 pays off at $518 for 48 months at 7%, so you are ahead if you can find better than 7% or do 7% with a down payment.

Maybe time to chat with the credit union or see about a home equity loan.

Talked to my stealer today and the 0% 48 is only on the TC40. Also the prices that he is giving me on this tractor ($20,243) is without tires or wheels. According to him 13.6x24 & 7x16 AG tires with wheels adds $2322 and 14.9x24 & 8x16 AG tires with wheels adds $2789. If you go with industrials they are about $400 more than AG's.

Thanks for the input. Now I have gone to a 3rd New Holland dealer. His price was the best. tc40da hydro, Woods loader, fill rear tires, 6' Brush Hog for $23,900 and get the 0% for 48 months. When I drove the tractor, I thought is was jerky. Maybe just my lack of experience? Anyways, this sounds like the deal for me...but I was quoted $23,000 for JD 4120 hydro with 400x loader. All the dealers have been close on price. From reading the boards I know it is which dealer I feel most comfortable with and believe will give the best service. And there is the question. I can't come to a clear answer to which maker is better, Kubota, John Deere or New Holland?

They are all high quality tractors with large dealer network. I though the NH ergonomics were just as good as Deere, and fell in love with the sloped down loader. Also the NH had QA bucket, which was the universal mount for skidsteers. The Deere was their own unique configuration. I didn't fit well on the Kubotas, and didn't like the loader control joystick position. I also thought both JD and NH had better overall welds on them. I know that the Kubotas are almost indestructable, but the design seemed old school to me. Dog legged loader booms. You will not go wrong with a purchase of any of them. The Deere and Kubota in my area were priced higher than the NHs, but not by much.

That's a good one. Why a "stealer" would give you a quote of any kind without tires and wheels is beyond me. I guess it doen't matter but it sure sounds funny. OUR PRICE IS $20,000 BUT IF YOU WOULD LIKE AN ENGINE, IT'S $7000 MORE!

I also would refuse to do business with any dealer that would charge more for 0% financing. That is a factory incentive and shouldn't cost the dealer squat......

It doesn't cost the dealer anything, but there is a discount if the low rate is not used. He can then pass this discount along on deals without low rate, thus two different prices. No different than the car companies offering either low rate, or cash back. Just different nomenclature.

slim,

I noticed the third dealer offered the FEL as a Woods brand. Not that Woods is a problem, but keep in mind the New Holland brand FEL comes with a great joystick that also has the rabbit/turtle control built into the handle. Once you work with it at this location, you won't go back. For my $'s it is worth the extra cost (if there really is any extra cost) to have the New Holland loader. I suggest you check it out first.
