Price Check Price check on TC40DA

Got a price from local dealer in NW New Jersey for a NH TC40DA, hydro, rear remote, 250TL loader, & 758C backhoe. Told me the price was $39,100. With a Woods backhoe BH80 it was $1000 more. Seemed like pretty high prices to me. Any thought?

The quoted amount is too high. In my opinion, the dealer is charging you retail price for each item.

I getting a TC 45 a tomorrow for $24-k inclusive of taxes. It will have the 16 FEL, Grapple, sun sheld and some other minor additions. I think the DA was 26-K so your price seems very high unless the heavier loader and backhoe costs $13-K.

I priced the same w/ supersteer and a front remote to boot. $32K. You can beat that deal all day.

Dealer called this morning and said he had quoted the wrong tractor. He did just start there so I can give him a break. His new quote is $33000 for the tractor using a NH backhoe and $34500 using a Woods. Sounds better but I am still looking around.

Take a ride to Tamaqua, PA; which probably is only a little over an hour from you, and talk to Charles S. Snyder Inc. They have been there doing business for many years and give a fair deal.

I did email Charles S. Snyder Inc. They got back to me real fast with a price of $29800. That sounds more reasonable. I will go down there and talk to them as I work not to far from them.
