- John Deer 1025r with Loader and 60D Mower
Hey guys,
I have put some ink down on a new 1025R with the FEL (h120) and the 60D Mower. I was able to get them down to 17,159.00 including delivery and filling the rear tires for ballast. With taxes I'll be out the door for around 18 flat. The initial quote they gave me was for 18,800 with taxes. I was able to get the dealer to comp the freight on implements and as the Kubota dealer (who quoted me a BX2380 for 17,800) said he thought he could do. I also got them to include about 400 dollars in discounts for a neighboring JD dealer's go green event they were planning to have this weekend. They basically gave me the same rate I would get if I had made the trip to that dealer (further away) to get the event discount.
So I feel like I did okay, but then I keep seeing posts here and there where people got away for around 16 similarly equipped and I Just don't see how thats possible as the dealer said they really cant deviate but so far from their price sheets.
Oh, also it looks like I am getting a 2016 model judging from the invoice. Should I dig my heels in and see if I can get a 2017? Is it worth the wait if I would need to? Thoughts on the 2016 is that might mean it has been sitting up for about a year which may or may not be a problem?
Thanks folks. Really look forward to spending lots of time here!
