Price check on L130

Hi folks - I have an opportunity to pick up a L 130 for 1700 bucks, it has 30 hours and reportedly is in great shape as far as body panels, etc. Is this a good price? all help appreciated.

The L130 is not manufactured any longer, but the MSRP on it was $2,599.00

andrewj, Ah the L130 with only 30 hrs. There was a post about this not long ago in this forum... Good price BTW, but does it smoke? This was the issue the afore mentioned post was about . It seems the 23hp or 25hp kohler(forget which one) developed a smoking or oil burning problem that was kinda intermitent. It would smoke awhile then quit on and off maybe due to not being fully broken in... My Father still has his and it was fixed (supposedly)under warranty at the dealers. I think the biggest issue with the mower is not over filling the crankcase with too much oil...

My advice is check the oil and give it a thorough test drive include a good dose of mowing during test drive, Although this time of year may be hard to find some grass to mow. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
