I was wondering if anyone has priced out a M5040 with Cab? I saw one today with self leveling bucket, R4 tires loaded, quick attach bucket and a HYDO shuttle shift. They wanted $35000.00 and I thought this was a bit high based on the prices I have seen in the past. I have a 4520 Deere with ROPS and would like to upgrade to a cab for commercial mowing in the summer and snow removal in the winter. We have received over 30 inches in Colorado over the past 2 weeks. Attached is a picture of my 4520.

A decent price would be in the $31,000.00 range. I have been quoted $31,500.00 with the standard transmission setup and ag tires.

You do have to watch for options! Starting with a hydraulic shuttle and then the wheels and tires as well as the hydraulic valves and cab options. It is easy to get them up a couple of thousand depending on how they are equipped.

Also make sure your quote includes whatever attachment you want on the loader. A lot of times they'll say that a price includes a loader but you're not aware that doesn't include a bucket!

That is with a cab, am/fm/cd, 2 remotes and loader. Check out the Kubota web site, lots of new rebates on the old L, Grand L, and M series.

That was with 4 wheel drive. The rebates are higher on the discontinued tractors, but I haven't seen any M5700's or 6800's anywhere.

Thanks everybody for your replies. I hate to go from a HYDRO to a Shuttle Shift HYDRO, but thecab on this is so open. The cab on the Deere 4520 does not have a lot of room. I owned a L3400 in the past. Attached is a photo.
