Well I went to Evergreen Tractor in Covington today. I got some quotes on several different models and on some implements.

5103 with FEL - 18,500
5105 with FEL - 20,930
5105 DT with FEL quick detach - 25,550

Deere Broadcast Spreader - 690
Deere 6' Disc - 1449
Bushhog 286 - 2330
Woods BB720 - 2550

Overall seems like I can come down at least $2,000 on any of the overall tractors with the 3 implements.

Thoughts?

In August I paid $25k for the 5205 dt with fel, canopy, 1 rear remote..Hope that helps

the quotes on those implements are in ORBIT! For example, you can get a spreader at tractor supply for about 400 bucks. I bought the heaviest 6.5 disk harrow from tractor supply for about 700 bucks. (it is now for sale for 600). My box Frontier box blade 72 inches cost me 500 bucks from deere. it is heavy duty and a real bruiser. please give those implement quotes a second look!

DT=dual traction aka 4WD

Yeah I figured those implements were way high. I got a connection now at another Deere dealership. My buddy works for a heavy equipment rental company and he is friends with the Deere sales rep. He is working me up a "real" quote now.
Should be interesting.

I did some more shopping over the past couple of weeks.
Here is the best I have found:

6.5 disk harrow - $899
500 pound spreader - $410
JD MX6 - $2120
Canopy - $368

Total - $28,047

I just bought a brand new 3pt. large hopper spreader - $250

So no, it doesn't look like the best prices.

When you mean "fully loaded" what do you mean?

What area of the country do you live?

I have received quotes from four different salesman from three dealerships. And this is the best so far. Perhaps it's time to let the salesman compete with each other by showing them quotes.

Lead, I'm in WV near the Ohio border.
By all means, get written quotes and let them compete. I told the dealer I bought from that he needed to beat the low bidder. I then went back to the original low bidder and offered the same to him. I feel like I got about the lowest price available in this area.
Price isn't everything of course. . . It is important to consider the dealer's ability to service the products.
