Dealer has quoted me $23,500 for a 1025R FILB and a 60D MMM. Does that sound like an OK price? Anything else I should consider adding?

Thanks in advance.

Seems high to me but I have been told I got a smoking deal.

60d 7-Iron MMM $2,350
Attaching Parts $179
Hydraulic Lift $247
freight $91.79
Discounts -$188.79
Total for deck $2,679

1025r FILB (factory installed loader and backhoe) $22,348
Freight $312.50
Customer Discounts (includes $500 2 implement cash back) -$4,410.50
Total for tractor $18,250

Total delivered was $20,929 as I have a GA GATE card and didn't have to pay sales tax

Something else to consider and not stated in the quote, what type of lift will be used for the deck.

Options Deere offers for lifting the deck;

Mechanical - this is the standard option and the deck is raised and lowered by the 3 pt lift

Hydraulic - a few different options - the lift cylinder can be plumbed to the loader SCV and controlled from the loader stick. The quick disconnect hose plugs into the curl function and must be disconnected when using the loader. It can also be plumbed to a 3rd SCV but the 3rd SCV is not compatible with the power beyond kit. And then this thread shows the other option, putting the deck on its own circuit.

Seems Deere has an offering to suit whatever unique situation one may have. I opted for the hydraulic lift when I purchased mine but Deere didn't offer the electric over hydraulic which I installed and detailed in this thread; http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...1-1025r-diverter-valve-install-hydraulic.html

Other than the deck lift there aren't too many options left for the FILB but you may want to consider wheel weights. I am running a set of the 72lb each starter weights and 1 set of the 55 lb weights. Well worth the investment I believe.

What's the "build your own" price on the John Deere website? I got 15% off on my 4120

Well I took a shot a got a quote from another JD dealer about 100 miles away. Blew me away - quoted $21,080 after freight and setup. Includes auto PTO and independent lift.

I would ask both dealers if they would throw in a full set of wheel weights, 2 starter weights and 4 wheel weights and go with the one that agrees too.
