I'd look to find out what they're charging for the cutter and the shipping. I got a better deal out of buying my grapple and forks separately (not through the dealer): better implements at a better price.

Shipping costs are hard to qualify. Keep in mind that new machines tend to have bugs to work out and that most likely will require the dealer to pick it up. I'd want to ensure how any warranty work would be handled. (if you have to shell out for moving the tractor 350 each way then you may find yourself a bit disappointed in any cost savings that long distance buying may have afforded you)

Central Indiana you have a Kioti dealer west of Indianapolis and Holtsclaw in Switz City (where I bought mine) and was best overall price I found. Service is superb..even has a sign inside that they are the oldest Kioti dealer in North America.
Ask for Bill
I will say, like others told me, service is everything. When I purchased my CK35 spring 2014 by the fall I wanted a cab. Reluctantly I talked to him about the NX4510. He said he would trade mine in all but ~$300...he ordered it and a couple of weeks later was delivered...he took a pic and Kioti posted it on their Facebook page...

Cutter they are charging $2600. I may be foregoing that and find one used. Shipping is $500 for everything to my door with instructions.

Can I have any Kioti dealer service the tractor for warranty?

Yes, ANY Kioti dealer. They get reimbursed from the factory for warranty issues. Travel expenses "might" be covered, but this is limited in scope: my tractor got hauled to and fro a few times all under the dealer's dime (factory probably reimbursed); at this point I'd reckon the hauling charges would be on me.

Price out cutters. It takes some work to really figure things out. Careful about "used," though, as you could run into having to deal with issues that you may not be prepared for: recently acquired cutter had a bad PTO shaft that I just discovered is bad (I might be looking at a $500 tab when all is said and done); I expect to still come out ahead, but time is money and I'd really like to use that cutter now! You should have a lot of candidates around out there in Indiana: lots of manufacturers, which you might be able to purchase from directly and save a lot of coin. BUT, make sure you understand what you really need.

Thank you Diesel. Good information to consider. I would definitley prefer something new, just hard to justify spending another $2600.

When you purchase a tractor it's the biggest cost, but implements aren't too far behind! I have shelled out around $7k just on implements for my NX, mostly new (because none exists around me used); my mower is used. And back to the topic of mower...

This may be of help in assessing what folks are asking for rotary cutters in your neck of the woods (I just picked a few of the manufacturers that I like- there are likely others that are also worthy):

Not sure of what you have to cut, so this may be a bit off the mark. If you're in need of a bush hog then I'd figure a 6-footer would be what you'd want: anything bigger and you'll want to go multiple spindle, though when you start getting into this range things will start to get a bit more complicated. For reference, I picked up a Bush Hog 286 for $800; tail wheel bracket needed repair ($150) and the PTO shaft is junk (figure about $500); figure at least $1,500 for a "medium duty*" rotary cutter.

* There are plenty of discussions out there on what "duty" classifications are or are not: kind of a loose description, but generally comes down to deck thickness and gearbox hp rating. If you're whacking a lot of heavy brush then you want something that's listed/rated as being higher up in the "duty" classification.

This isn't a bad unit/deal:

The cutter would be for about... +/- 11 acres of pasture, until the animals come in the future. The only reason I am leaning brand new is that, well it is new. With little to no experience with this type of equipment the fact that the items are new will be appreciated.

That woods cutter does look like a really good deal! Only issue is that I do not have a trailer just yet.

If you're just grass then you can go with a lighter duty cutter, thus saving quite a bit of money. I picked up a used Landpride RCR1860 for my B7800 recently: it needed new blades really badly. I think it's a great lighter-duty cutter. If money weren't an object and you were still looking at just cutting grass then I'd say get a flail mower: flails tend to be quite a bit more expensive; one would really have to know about flails before looking to buy a used one. Rotary cutters are VERY simple. If you look around you can probably find several threads on buying a used one. In general, it's better to avoid anything that shows signs of leaking seals (one on input side of gearbox is right there and visible, one on output side is under the pan and not likely visible [input side seems more prone to leaking first, though don't quote me here], has gear oil that doesn't look like clean gear oil (pull the fill plug and dip your finger in to sample), blades have meat on them, deck isn't split up and or rusted out, tail wheel is in good shape, the 3pt connections aren't twisted up and the PTO shaft is OK (can check U-joints; check that the shaft segments slide w/o difficulty [if difficult then poor maintenance and or a bent shaft]). Might sound like a lot to look at, but it really isn't. If you have a local dealer, that you can trust, that sells used implements then perhaps that's the way to go: they should be more than willing to go over all this with/for you.

Rotary cutters hold up very well. If you're only cutting grass then they will hold up for a very long time. My light duty 5' cutter was tasked with clearing a lot of brush, and after nearly 6 years it still operated fine: broke a tail wheel, bent things up a bit and ripped part of the deck (side), but it still managed to continue to do everything that it always had done. I bought that cutter used (all cutters I have had have been purchased used- my Bush Hog 286 is significantly more used than any of the others, but there's slim picking around here for anything in this range), but it was close to being new- cheaper than shelling out for a new one. Resold it and got enough money to cover nearly the entire cost of the RCR1860.

Just would like to add to my comments on rotary cutters, and that's that you might actually be better off with a double spindle 8' cutter, something like this:

Larger cutters/mowers like this are better in open spaces: I'd be considering such if I didn't have all the trees that I have. Going from 6' to 8' would reduce your mowing time by quite a bit.
