hi,im looking at a year 2000 tc18 hydrostst trans,4x4,rear blade,rear scope,single bottom plow the tractor has 655 hours and ag tires and is in good codition.the guy will take $4800.does this seem like a good price?

wll this tractor handle a 5ft rear finish mower and a 4ft brush hog?
i would like to hear some input as far as,is it comfortable,how do they do plowing snow and cutting grass.it will be finish mowing 2.5 acers.thanks

The price seems reasonable if it comes with the attachments. I have almost the same unit 3 years newer with turf tires. The 5' finish mower is no hassle. I have not used a bush hog behind it though. I take care of my 1.7 acres with it, mowing and snow as well. I can use a 5' back blade and a 5' box blade without any problem. I tried using a single plow once with mine and was disappointed. But I was a newbie at setting one up too. Never used the plow since.

how long do you think it would take to mow 2.5 acers?ive had a few other larger tractors 25 & 33 hp they took a little over an hour.hows the platform room?

I've got a Tc18 that I use a 42" Bush hog with. I mow 9 acres with it. On average it takes me about 12-16 hours to mow everything. I'm mowing waist high brush with mine, on some steep hills that I can only mow up and down on. The Tc18 would run a 4' bush hog if your mowing relatively flat areas. I also plow my garden with mine. I have no problem pulling a 12" single bottom plow. Once it is set up correctly it works very well. I use a 6' rear blade to move snow with. I use a 4' box blade and a 6' rake to take care of my 1100' driveway.
As for platform room i'm 6' tall and almost 300lbs. I have plenty of room to move comfortably.

With my 1.7 acres, it takes about 3 hours, but I have LOTS and LOTS of obstacles to cut around. And a lot of uneven ground which slows me down.
