I am in the research phase of buying a tractor. I grew up on a medium sized dairy farm so I am not new to tractors. I started out thinking about buying a SCUT with loader, backhoe and MMM but have since decided the loader and backhoe will be too small to do any real work. I have 7 acres and am looking to continue clearing more and more land. I went to the local MF dealer and test drove the GC 1710 and it definitely is too small. I then tested out a 1726E hydro with loader and it is much more like what I want. The priced me at $26,265 for tractor with loaded rear tires (Rimguard), L105E loader with QA skidsteer 60" bucket and CB75E backhoe with 16" bucket. Cash price is $22,865. Both are plus tax and are delivered. Seems like a pretty good value to me.

Comparing the price to some used ones on Tractorhouse (minus the BH), that sounds like a very good cash price. Especially as outfitted. Check it out yourself. When Massey had the 1526 I don't think they made a BH for it so this looks like a good upgrade model. Nice tractor. I had a prior model to the 1710 that power wise was pretty impressive, but I agree this 1726 is nice. Post photos if you get it.

Like most manufacturers it's a model just under the new final tier 4 requirements. Post photos if you get it!
