Which loader does this price inclued? It is the newly designed NH loader or is it the 16LA? I think you are in the middle of the price range. If you are happy with the price, I would ask for options. I would ask for a brush guard ($190), rear work light ($30), and a toothbar ($300). If the dealer will give you these items then you are getting a great deal.

I used the old green paint trick(John Deere) to get my dealer to come down on the price. I didn't ask for the options, which would have been better for me in the long run. I have now spent another $1,000 adding options.

Yes the 16 loader.

I did get a grill guard but not the work light or tooth bar which I really need. I really want the grapple but they won't budge on that -- 1,300 installed.

I'm ready to sign the contract on Saturday if all goes well. there is a green paint dealer down the road about two miles.... may I can try the go to green unless you can....

thanks.

Good price on grapple. My dealer was asking $2100 for bucket mounted grapple.

If you get the opportunity take a look at the Dehner Welding grapples. They have a 72 inch double arm root grapple with hoses and cylinders for around $1300. I have the Arm made by them and it does a very good job and is built like a tank.

Thanks for all your comments and help. I purchased the NH 45a yesterday with:
  • 16 FEL
  • Grapple
  • Canopy
  • Tool Box
I'm sure glade this site and you all are around as I don't think I would have made as informed decision with you.

Thanks again. :)

Now I need to build a pole building to part it in.

Very nice! That looks like the ATI grapple. You will love it for picking up brush, logs, and lots of other "stuff." Keep your eyes on that canopy. I have lots of trees too and I can't keep my ROPS off of them. If I had a canopy, it would look like an accordian. I'd love to have one, but it wouldn't last long with me.

Thanks again for all the help and I am considering taking off the canopy in the spring as it hits the trees but I need it now if it ever snow.
