The B2630 and B3030 have been out for a few years now. Any regrets or second guessing for those of you who opted for the B2630 instead of the B3030? Anybody wish they had gone for the 7800 instead of the B2630/B3030. Let's hear your feedback on strengths and weaknessess, delights and pleasures.

I've only seen people that have wished they had bought the premier units.

I originally looked into the New Holland TC-26DA and the Kubota B2630 but ended up buying a B3030 and I don't regret it one bit. I liked the fact that the 3030 has more engine HP and PTO HP. Also, the difference in price between the B2630 and B3030 was only about $1,400. The B2630 is also a very capable machine and I think it boils down to how much property your planning on maintaining and what type of jobs you plan on doing. I have 3 acres where my home is and 7+ acres where I plan on building a house someday. If I just had my house with 3 acres I'd probably have bought the B2630. However, my other property needs to be cleared in some areas and I thought the extra HP would be beneficial. So, that being said, I would evaluate your situation and stick with orange whatever you decide.

I have had my B3030 for 2 years now. Took delivery the Friday before Labor Day, 2005. I am still impressed by how cool and useful this little tractor is. I mow lawn with the 60" MMM, plow snow with a RB and FEL, plow my garden with a 2 X 14" Ford plow, move dirt, mulch and other stuff with the FEL, pull trees, etc., etc. I have never regretted getting the '30. I can't imagine anyone ever wishing they had bought the B7800 instead. It is a NICE TRACTOR also, just not as deluxe. Position control alone is worth the difference in price, not to mention the cool pedal to adjust the tilt wheel. That makes getting on and off the tractor so much easier. The price difference was less than 10% so it was a no brainer to me on which one to buy. There has been talk on the board about what the "New B7800" will be like. The B3030 is the answer.

Here are a few pics of my B3030 at work.

As an opposing viewpoint, I bought the B-7800. I still love it, and have never wished that I bought a B-3030 instead..
And, that is NOT a knock on the 3030..

They all serve their purpose. If they work without any problem and get the job done then they are great. A little side luxury here and there doesn't hurt but isn't necessary. No use trading up if the one you has works. like a woman, iT'S CHEAPER TO KEEP HER... No macho mentality intended. I bought a grand L a because that is what I wanted but I also would like more HP like a more basic machine would have given me for the same price. Enjoy the decision you made. They all will get the job done....:)
