Preifert RMX 500 Rotary Cutter anyone know about this one?

One of these is for sale for $500 in very good condition.

Am thinking it could be a good one for the rough areas you might not want to take you shiny JD rotary cutter to!

Opinions?

At 570 pounds it seems to spec out just about like any other light duty cutter.

10ga deck, 25hp min 40hp maximum....do not exceed 1" diameter material, etc.

If its in good shape I'd say its probably worth $500.

Blades are probably generic as are blade pins and bolts. And those are really the only two things you would ever have to buy. So I dont worry about parts or a dealer for rotary cutters. If you trash a gearbox on one of them light duty cutters....there really are only two options that are cost effective. Scrap it or put on a generic Chinese box.
