Predator 670 starter

I removed a dead starter from the Predator 670, got a new one and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it back on. Anyone know if there's a trick to it?

If you still have the old starter, lay them side by side and compare. Often times, the 'exact replacement' might be for two or three revisions later and be slightly different.

The starters were the same, just very tricky to install. Got it done after many attempts.
