Can you please tell me what kind of test they done on your son that found this ??

It was a CAT Scan that showed up the growth, followed by a biopsy that proved it to be cancerous.

Please forgive me for asking what may sound trivial, but have they ruled out these symptoms coming from a tick bite?

No your not being trival at all....We haven't even thought of this, and the doctor that done the bone test hasn't said anything about this.

Well she had the "nuclear bone test" done yesterday and she stayed calm & done very well.

The test took over 4 hours.

We might get the results back on that tomorrow afternoon, and i will post the results.

After she had the test the doctor told us that we might find out the results this afternoon, and he told us to call his office & find out.

Well my wife called today, and his office made an appointment for us to come in to talk to him on July 8..

My wife has really been upset today because we have to wait so long, and i really don't know what to think about this doctor.

I know what I think about him. And if it were me, I'd be telling him about it, too.

Maybe he needs time to consult with some other doctors about the test results and/or treatment options.

If he is going on vacation for July 4th and can't make time to give you a straight answer, then I would have a different personal opinion.

Does he have an assistant or nurse or someone you can call and ask about the reason for the delay?

This is still a matter of prayer in our home.

It almost sounds like they thought your wife wanted/needed an appt to counsel with the doc. You should call and tell the doc you don't want to wait until July 8th and why can't he go over results sooner?
