Hi all,

I always had in mind the ability to detach the BH on the L48 to apply other implements. I have seen a few videos on the detach/attach process and it seems that with some practice about 10 minutes is achievable. Does anyone on here do this regularly? I have some cutter jobs coming my way, and I am considering some sort of plow/harrow or PTO driven tiller for my food plots.

I do it all the time on my l45 and put the 3 point arms on in about 15 mins. I always backup to a flat spot set the bucket on the ground get off the tractor with it running and grab the T handle pins and slide them up and push the bucket into the ground on till the pins spin free slide it out and go do the same to the other side may have to take some pressure off the bucket. Like a little game to get wiggle room then once it's free spinning I lower the stabilizer arms to just about the ground not touching the ground pull the pin and drop the arms to the ground till it lifts the bottom of the backhoe mounts up out of their hooks then get on tractor pull it ahead till you can get to the 3 hydro lines then shut tractor down and pull or push the 2 metal handles that go under the rear of the seat that's the hydro bypass valve levers. Then disconnect your lines cap then and go put the 3 point arms on and your read repeat backwards to put on. It is all very easy

Don't worry about the stabilizer arms over a long time of them falling down when you backup and put the lines on it will work

Find taking the backhoe off a little quicker than putting back on. 3pt arms R&R the hardest part. Adjust till the backhoe pins slide into place with hand or light tap. Allow 30 minutes to an hour at first with the manual handy. You’ll get much quicker with practice. Lube spray pins.

B26 backhoe needs blocking underneath. Built a special pallet. M59 doesn’t. Of the three TLBs I’ve owned the M59 is the easiest to switch.
