Like Smartguyz said, I use white litium grease. When it runs out, I'll try the super lube.

And, I also use something behind the joint that I am spraying, or the grease will get on whatever is behind it. The white grease is water proof and I like that, especially when mowing in wet brush or snow plowing in winter.

I will check Home Depot and see if they carry super lube. No Lowes in this area. I have seen the white lithium at Northern and also at Fleet Farm.

Paul, congratulations on your new Power Trac. I haven’t been able spend much time on TBN lately so it’s hard to keep up with all the forums. I just read your whole thread and I appreciate you taking the time to share. I would love to see some shots of your new toys at home in Montana. By the way how did you get the tractor that fast? Your post on 8/30 says you were at the factory the previous week.

I picked up the new 425 this morning from OverNite Express and moved 10 ton of rock and dirt this afternoon. No damage or problems from freight company. PT did a great job with packaging the shipment (two pallets and tractor which had the mower on the front end.

Prior to the tractor arriviing we used the wheelbarrow for one full day. I moved twice as much dirt in 45 minutes after the tractor arrived without any backach.
