Tractor
Powerstar t4.75
Well first off let me tell you about the good, bad, and ugly of this tractor. 2015 powerstar t4.75. The good, I've never operated a more comfortable, quiet, powerful (for its class) tractor. The 75 horse power on the powerstar is way different than the 75 hp on the tn75. Alot more pushing power, does not bog down. The cab is laid out great for box blading. Air ride seat is awesome. Seat rotates 15ー to the right, excellent idea for my needs. The fit and finish seem to be top notch.
The bad, All the three point links in the back are Alot smaller than the tn75. None of my hardware for my box blade would fit, had to get smaller pins & bolts. Don't know if this will be a problem down the road. Not the tractors fault, but it sits a little high for my liking.
The ugly, With 8.2 hrs on the tractor, the rear axle separated from the housing. Dumped all hydrolic fluid out of machine. Axle is separated about 4 inches from the rear end housing. I'm thinking and hoping it has to be a anomaly from the factory. I have probably logged over 15000hrs on tractors over my lifetime and have never had this happen before. None of the mechanics have either. The dealer has it now, I should no something tomorrow as to what caused this. I will report back with my findings.

Wow, the bad is bad. Never heard of the axle separating like that except when a keeper was not installed inside the axle housing.
Hope no damage occurred to the trans.

That does not sound good at all, with that low of hours sounds like a manufactoring defect of some sort, as davesl708 stated maybe a keeper was not installed. Hopefully the dealer will fix it all up and be good to go for a long time.

You were right. The keeper was not installed correctly from the factory. Dealer ordered all the new parts. Should be up and running early next week. Also no other damage was noted during inspection of the rear end.

The three point attachments on the five T4.75's I've used are Cat II. What category are your implements?
