Yeah, good article @SpringHollow! The author is right about remembering to watch the tilt on the bucket on the top of the lift arc, especially with a rolling load like a big tree branch. (Dude needs a grapple bucket for that work. 😉 )

One thing the author didn't mention is that heavy loads up high get a significant boost to pucker factor if you turn the machine with the load up. It's not really a problem so long as you remember that's an issue.

Overall, some good positive press there!

I ended up repurposing an old forklift load backrest to my pallet forks just because of that ability to roll stuff back onto the operator. I've thought about making one for the bucket as well. I've given myself a lapfull of dirt a few times over the years.

I take it the PT forks do not have a backrest - that is something I definitely would want.
