Please stop talking about Wyoming. I was raised just outside of Cody, spent my childhood in the park.... Folks sold the farm last fall. That was my final connection with Wyoming. Man I loved that state...

As a small side note, my father and mother were educators, and we had a lot of interesting friends. One ran the museum. On occassion he would invite people over for basement tours. All I can say is that it is amazing what you don't see...

We made the drive from Cody to the park three days in a row. Beautiful drive. That stretch just outside the park, going towards Cody in the evening, highway running down the right side of the hills, fields off to the left, and this BIG rainbow shows up and we could see both ends. We chased that thing for about 40 minutes and took lots of pictures. Just beautiful.

We saw 38 elk in Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone. They were in this guys front yard. The ranger had to escort two of his kids into the house when they got home from school
