I can't find any leaks in the hydraulic system and my hydraulic steering is not working? Could this be a bad steering pump? Do these go bad? The oil was low, so I added about 1 1/2 gallons thinking this would fix the steering but it didn't. It is now a little overfilled, could this cause the problem? Anyone have some advice? I'm in the middle of a big project and the front wheels will not make a complete left to right turn.

I've taken all the hoses off and made sure that they were not blocked. The steering basically does not work. Anyone have an idea of what part to check next?

i would test the parts separately. cylinder that steers, orbital control etc. If you have a utility hydraulic source you can hook up to your steer linkage to test that by itself then test the orbital.

you could also see about disconnecting the steer linkage to see if it functions without load, then attached to see if it functions with the front end jacked off the ground.
