Power Sprayer for Deck Cleaner?

I have a FIMCO 12v 14 gal sprayer from TSC that I've only used for weed control. Last year I replaced the boards on my 20'x33' deck and am getting ready to clean and stain it. The Olympic Deck Cleaner I bought recommends an Olympic sprayer or a "plastic, pump-type garden sprayer". The deck cleaner contains sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite. Wonder if it would be ok to use the FIMCO electric sprayer if I cleaned it right after spraying or am I risking ruining the motor?

On one hand it's not hard to spray a deck with a pump-up( I've done it lots). On the other, your FIMCO should handle the job without damage. Flip a coin and get-er-done.

Found out our old pump-up type is not holding pressure, and didn't want to bother fixing it or getting a new one just for this job, so I'll go ahead and use the electric sprayer.
