I put 16oz fuel conditioner in my fuel tank of my L3130 which only holds 10 Gals of fuel is that enough? I did mathmatics and it came out to be approx 3 oz to 1 gal of gas. I know it should be 30oz, But that seems way to much. Weid becuase on the bottle it states it treat 100 gals of fuel. Is there any harm by adding to much? Please help a newbie.

From Power Service > Part No. 1016
Add 16 ounces to each 35 gallons of diesel fuel. For faster injector clean-up and maximum cetane boost, add 16 ounces to each 18 gallons of diesel fuel.

I don't think that it will hurt anything, but you did put quite a bit.

I use 3 oz per 5 gallons in both my Kubota tractor and IH dozer. I use off-road fuel exclusively and this mixture with both winter blend and summer blend fuel.

Nope, didn't waste it all; just part of it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif But, yes, it's OK; no problem.

I use Power Service Diesel Fuel Supplement part # 1025 It's the 32 oz. size that treats 100 gal. For 10 gal. divide by ten or 3.2oz per 10 gal. For faster injector cleaning the instructions say you can double the amount or 32 oz. per 50 gal. In your case that would be 6.4 oz. per 10 gal. I don't know whether the fuel conditioner is different from the fuel supplement but the usage is still the same. 16 oz per 10 gal. is a bit much but probably won't hurt anything.

Right after I got my new JD4110 tractor; I somehow put
32oz of Power Service Diesel treatment in my 5 gallon tank.
Thought for sure I was in trouble. Ask people on this forum;
What now? General opnion was that it wouldn't hurt it. I run
it part way down and added fuel. They were right. It didn't
hurt a thing. Don't ask how I could make such a dumb
mistake. It was easier than you'd think.

I use 2 ounces per 5 gallons in my L3130 and ZD21. You can use 3 ounces per 5 gallons. It shouldn't hurt anything to add a little extra one time. When your tank is about half empty fill it back up with straight diesel. Should be good to go.
