Power rake for rotary mowers?

I have seen the power rake "blades" with springs for rotary mowers. Do these things work well, what is the best time to use it?

Save your money. I bought one and installed it once and was not impressed. Rent a real power rake (Bluebird brand). I currently have a Mantis tiller that I also have the dethacher attachment for it. Works OK, but it is narrow and I won't want to do a medium or large yard with it.
