Power inverter question

I just purchased a schumaker 1000 watt power inverter for my 900. I wouldn't mind installing it permanently? What did you guys do? If I could find a nice quick connect for it that would be fine as well.
I am thinking about getting a Remington electric pole saw (on sale) and also using a hedge trimmer to keep the trails open on my property. What do you guys think? Will the inverter work well for that application and do any of you have that saw? The one on sale is the 800 watt model ($99).
I wouldn't be using it for very long periods of time, just the occasional branch that is too high to reach.

I have one outside inbetters on my 900 if u let it idle while u are using the saw it works perfectly fine for me and those remington saws and haven't had a problem and u could go buy a quick disconnect winch plug kit to use for temporary use of it on Ur 900I got mine of brother tool and equipment they aren't bad
