Hi, Everyone. Power Beyond or No Power Beyond. I'm in the process of building an FEL for my cub cadet 86. I've been reading up on hydraulics and it' a little confusing. I have a 3 spool valve, it's a 4 way, 3 position, tandem center type and the action is 3 position spring center. On my cub I also have a rear hydraulic 3ph that works off an add on hydraulic pump, the control valve is built into the pump. I have a new 10 gpm pump and my 3 spool valve is rated for 10 gpm. I want to remove the add on pump from my rear 3ph and run it off the 3spool valve and pump for my FEL since I only need 2 of the spools for my FEL. What I've read about the power beyond system suggest that if you already had a control valve that worked one sytem and you wanted to add another control valve for another system you would have to have the power beyond port for that new control valve. My question is since I have a 3 spool valve can i connect my 3ph and not have to add the power beyond port, or will I still have to have it? Any info would be appreciatted. Thanks, Jeff.
