One advantage of the PB kit is that you get the highest pressure and flow rate that the tractor can deliver. It uses large tubing and the return dumps directly into the sump. It's set up that way to feed a hungry backhoe.
The down side, as stated is that it uses the rockshaft circuit so it preempts flow to the lift the 3pt. So when you want to lift and move the splitter, you have to swap the hoses over. I have thought about plumbing in a diverter valve in the PB circuit. It would have to be a big one, but it is definitely possible.
