So I was thinking originally of running a power beyond loop to the rear of the tractor but, I want to be able to run front mounted implements like skid steer stuff as well.

I could run it and just have it self looping at rear for things and just undo how I run it and switch it around manually to front as needed... Long hydraulic hose.

I can't find anything online for what I'm thinking... Can I??

Put quick attach fittings at the pb port and the tank dump port... Have a short line to plug them in together when not in use then a long hose I can run to front and rear with quick connects?

Then I could run front or rear with the loop just using the quick connections and swapping line.

Or just put quick connects in between the line from pb to tank dump to make clearer... Then just a long line that can be used front and rear with quick connects.

Are you planning on using power beyond to feed an attachment that has it’s own valve? If so, then yes you can do what you describe provided the valves have a power beyond port with the appropriate sleeve or plug installed. You also would need a return to tank line to the valve as well.

If you are planning on using power beyond to power an attachment that doesn’t have a valve then that would not work. You need a valve.

What the valve does, with it's power beyond plug, is it allows the flow of hydraulic fluid to complete it's path.

Basically, you have a continuous flow of hydraulic fluid circulating around your tractor. Valves may divert fluid from that circle to use it's power (volume of oil and pressure) to extend a cylinder but will allow the hydraulic fluid to circulate after it's done.

You might want to look at the Gallons per Minute requirements for the skid steer implements you are thinking of running up front on the FEL. Their needs are usually much greater than what your tractor puts out. (unless they are designed specifically for our type of tractors).

Why not just daisy-chain the additional front and rear control valve assemblies?

You can use your existing original PB Out to power the IN port on your front control valve assembly, and then use that front control valve assembly's own PB Out port to power the IN port on your rear control valve assembly. Done that way, the bulk of the plumbing can be permanent rather than using leaky disconnects.... you can even use hard lines if you wish.

Each additional control valve assembly - also called a "CV stack" - can have as many individual control valves and levers as you want. Those individual control valves are the ones to equip with quick disconnects.

Remember that these extra front and the rear control valve assembly must each have its own Return Port plumbed to the sump. So in our example here you would have a total of three return lines - the original (loader) control valve assembly, the additional front control valve assembly, and the rear control valve assembly. Those three can be individual or Y'd together as they return to the sump. Keep their diameter as large as the port.
Luck,
rScotty

What I am running or will be running is a backhoe, a skid steer style wood splitter and, a tree puller... What about this? Thoughts? This is what I have setup right now.

I can run two different sized type implements from the front. I wired that line semi permanent to the back under the tractor for most part. It is hooked into the second rear remote set now.

Now I'm thinking I will just run a pb loop to the rear back there. It will be plumbed to self so to say... To tank.

That way I can just hook in that front line to it or hook in backhoe to it etc but normally will be plumbed as pb to back hooking into tank line connected together...

Thoughts?

If you already have rear remotes with controls AND, you will never run the backhoe & front cylinders at the same time, you could run the cylinders for the tree puller & wood splitter from the controls for the remotes. Probably a pain for the wood splitter with lots of back & forth waking unless you have a detente on the remote valve to keep flow going and another valve on the wood splitter, but should work fine for the post puller with no detente.

Yeah both those two implements are front quick attach implements but could run the tree puller from the front and get a three point conversion to quick attach setup for the back.

But the whole idea right now is to get away from looking the rear remote toggle down and use a pb... Or just to have multiple options.

I like rscottys idea above though too would be handy to run it all through or more as a power beyond setup. I am just not sure I can with all I have hooked up to it already...

Guess I need to read through all he said and check tractor over to see if I can do something like that.

Check out Summit Hydraulics ... even if you don't wind up buying from them, their site may wind up giving you an idea of the parts you may wind up needing.
